Best I've had

I'm a pro photographer and have 3 of these bags over the years. I use them every day. The model before this one was slightly better. I hate the side entry ALL backpacks have these days. This one was the only one that didn't have it.

Uncomforable on your back when loaded

I ordered this backpack because I wanted one that could carry my laptop as well as my camera equipment. The backpack is well-constructed and looks great. However, it is extremely uncomfortable to wear when the laptop is inside. It's like wearing a heavy, unbendable board on your back. For this reason alone, I sent it back. [...] I will keep looking for a different, more comfortable backpack.

Better than expected.

Had this back pack for about a week. The interior is padded well and I feel my gear is safe, both when I'm wearing the pack and when it's sitting. Love the hard bottom and that it is sturdy enough to stand alone. The interior compartments are easy to adjust with the velcro. I was able to pack my DLSR with battery grip, with medium sized lens attached. In addition it safely packs my 70-200 and 16-35 lenses. I currently have one flash packed but could probably add another one as well or some other similar sized item. My 15 inch Mac Book fits easily into the back compartment. There is room for cables and cords. The front pockets have great storage options for smaller items. The straps on the side securely hold my full size tripod. The wearing straps are comfortable and adjust easily. I am surprised that this size of pack can hold so much and loaded with all this gear it wears well and is not too heavy. I like the zipper pulls. The few things that could be better for my needs are, the top portion is a tight squeeze for my camera body with the battery grip attached. I can make it work. The sling to put the camera lens in is totally useless to me. The hole is just too small for my lenses. Though one side is velcro and I can fold it down, I'm considering just cutting it out. Overall I'm impressed with this pack. I bought it to use as a carry-on for the airlines. The size is perfect and has met my needs well.

I use it every day and found it very comfortable and durably built. Can store two cameras without problem. one downside is that is does not have rain cover protection.

Really nice construction, compartments and weight. Extremely well finished. I do not think there's nothing better in this price range.

Gets the Job done!

By

I have a 60D with a portrait grip. Unfortionally it does not fit snug in the bag. I have to remove the Hammock Suspension and base that holds the camera completely so my camera with the grip can fit snug. The great thing is you can remove the panels and really customize it. I carry a 60D with grip/2 YN565ex flashes, 1 pixel power pack, a 50mm lens and that's all. My camera fits snug with a 24-105mm lens attached. Plenty of pockets for SD cards and all those little things. The bag feels great on my back. I can carry it for hours. I do "on-location" Speedliting photography. Its great and I do recommend it. You will not be upset. Again fits a small DSLR camera but Hammock must be removed for 60D and bigger especially with a Portrait grip. I only wish the bag was deeper. The laptop layer takes up somespace. I use the laptop pocket for junk! Vic www.vbessphotography.com

Does exactly what it's suppose to do

By

from Boston, Ma  -  Photography Student

I love this bag for giving me the ability to always have my Camera ready to shoot whenever I go out. Since its all adjustable you can have whatever size lens you need on the camera and can fit a good amount of stuff in the many compartments it has. Being able to fit my laptop in it is also a plus. The bag itself is fairly light and has a pretty great design the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I can see how this bag can become uncomfortable if worn for extended periods of time. However for me this is the perfect travel bag for everyday use I am very happy with my purchase.

i am satisfied buying this product and very happy to use it. It's a good backpack with tons of space and useful pockets at a resonable price. I like it's inside yellow colour when i can easily find my stuff.

Sorry I didn't buy this sooner

By

I use this for nature photography. I can hike for hours and have quick access to my camera and 500mm lens whenever I get a photo opportunity. This bag is the only one that lets me store long lenses attached to the camera and allows a "quick draw". Keeps all my paraphernalia and gadgets safe and secure when traveling. Love the waterproof base. I'm not afraid to set it down almost anywhere! Sadly there's not enough room for large laptops but plenty for my tablet. The straps are a bit too far apart for my shoulders and that can cause me fatigue with extended use.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Will it fit my 17" macbook pro?
MICHAEL O  Sorry, but I do not use a 17in. notebook. I have a 15 that fits fine. Love this bag, high quality, nice protection, easy to carry. Fits under the seat when flying.
Shopper  Will a D600 with 50, 24-85 zoom and 70-300 zoom fit in this case?
ALEKSANDR N  Yes it will
Shopper  When the bag is fully completed, if it is not pressing shoulders, that is comfortable to carry it a long distance without a strong back and shoulder fatigue?
LARRY M  Depends on the strength of your back and shoulders. Always wear it snug against your body, and dont lean forward too much, otherwise your lower back will begin to hurt. Condition yourself before a long trip.
