The Canon EOS to Nikon Adapter Ring is custom-made by Cinevate to allow any Nikon lens to fit on a Canon EOS camera, including the popular 5D MkII and 7D, both of which are as well-regarded for their video as their stills. Constructed of long-lasting chrome-plated brass, the adapter ring gives your Canon SLR access to a full line of quality optics, from Nikon's own topnotch lenses to such third-party stalwarts as the Zeiss ZF primes.
With this simple adapter, you'll more than double your camera's optical versatility, while maintaining each lens' focal length and full focusing ability, from macro to infinity.

I use this on a 5D. I have a lot of Nikkor lenses, but no Canon lenses. Once you get past the fact that the fit is sloppy, and the lens rattles, you will love the fact that you can use AV priority mode and metering on your Canon 5D that you picked up used for less than 500 bucks. To be honest, I'd rather have a D3 or D700, but those are still too pricey.
Bought the adapter for use with Nikkor manual-focus lenses on Canon 5D mkii for architectural photography. The mount locks in very well, but the spring-action release was soft/loose to operate. Okay if you are leaving the adapter on the lens (which most do), but awkward to remove. Other adapters have a much more precise and snappy release mechanism with simpler removal.
Put a Nikon 2.0 onto my 5D with this adapter. Took a little fiddling to get it set right but it seems to work well enough. Good value.
