This is a very economical entry level biological microscope that includes many standard features (like a condenser and diaphragm) not found on many microscopes in this price category. The monocular head adjusts from 0° to 60° for comfortable viewing.

All metal construction of the bases, arms, stands, and heads give the microscope lasting durability and rigidity. It has five prepared slides included so you can begin enjoying viewing right "out from the box". The Microscope is backed with a two year limited warranty.

An entry level microscope with features such as a condenser, triple objective nosepiece, diaphragm and yet at an economical price
10x eyepiece and 4x, 10x, 40x objective lenses combine to provide powers of 40x, 100x, and 400x allowing for more serious usage
The arm is adjustable from 0° to 60° so you can position the microscope for comfortable views
50mm (2") mirror provides illumination to make details of specimen slides easier to see
Basic condenser is provided to concentrate the light cone onto the specimen to make it easier to observe details of the specimen
Plain stage of 110mm x 120mm (4.3" x 4.7") comes with stage clips which hold the slides in place for observing and helps keep them centered
Disc diaphragm with five aperture rings which provide a means to adjust the amount of light passing into the specimen to obtain a sharp and detailed image
Coarse and fine focusing knobs to make focusing easier at a power of 400x
