Filter bags for the MDV-2/MDV-3 units are not interchangeable with the MDV-1 (or vice versa). Filter bags for the MDV-2/MDV-3 may be found here:

thank you Andrew. i have ordered a couple bags just now - had already ordered the other size - so we'll see. restoration hardware had provided that original bag. of course they no longer are connected to your great vacuums. loretta mckinnon
