Fits and feels very well but if you want to attach a battery grip , you would have to cut a little bit of the bottom to make it fit

Protects Well. The flash protector sticks up after using external flash, gets caught in camera bag, but that is the only annoying thing about it. Great for protecting against bumps and scrapes.

I am a fire photographer. I am pretty good at protecting my camera from on coming water but the drips inside a house seem to hit me. I wanted the armor as an extra layer of protection for my camera. I love the extra grip I have with the armor on and that it finally comes in the color red for my D80. Although I like the look of the lens hood I am not a fan of it. I get shadows with the pop up flash and vignetting around my photos if I am not careful. I don't care for the hot shoe flap because it will not stay put but those are the only three draw backs for me. I love it.

The armor is a bit cumbersome and probably not necessary for someone that is gentle with their equipment. I shoot sports and other outdoor activities. For me the extra protection is useful. I am suprised at how well the armor buttons line up with the camera buttons.

Nice product - good fit & good protection. I hate scuffing a perfectly good camera with all manner of scratches. But there are some niggles: * There were no instructions - just a few rather unhelpful diagrams on the packaging. * Fitting was a bit of a struggle, but I guess that's necessary for a good, tight, fit. * Some control markings don't match the equivalent marking on the camera. * The flap over the flash hot-shoe is really annoying as it tends to get caught up and flips up when putting the camera in a carry-case. * The stick-on dangle-string on the protective lens-cap is an annoying length - it's too short to stick-on the camera-body so you have to stick it onto the lens-body but then the hood goes with the lens when you change lenses!
