Straps are very function and work well with the Pelican Air case. I need to carry the case in terrain unsuitable for the wheels, the straps are comfortable and easy to take off and put on.

This Ruc Pac is perfect for travel and field use. Having it made it possible to carry and protect my most precious camera gear. It fits in the over head bins of aircraft. My only regret is that I didn't have it sooner.

This is a total wast of money. And extremely overpriced for what you get. I hiked 7 miles with this and by the time I was done my shoulders were incredibly sore. It doesn't install well and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I gave this 4 stars because in concept and construction, it's really well done and seems rugged. It is a great solution for trekking with a hard case when there aren't other options. The bad news is, in our production the straps must be attached and removed frequently. It would be just about perfect if there were quick release straps everywhere so it could be removed and attached quickly. Also, the adjusting slides are not so easy to stuff multiple layers of straps into. Not a huge deal, unless you're in a hurry, which always seems to be the case.
