The Cullmann Magic 5-Section Aluminum Monopod is a sturdy anodized aluminum support for a DSLR or other camera. As part of Cullmann's Magic line, there's a neat trick to the way it sets up: Once you have the sections in their desired places, with one twist of your wrist you can lock the entire monopod. This, of course, makes for extremely fast setups - which is one reason you're carrying a monopod in the first place.

The monopod reaches a full working height of 58" when extended and because it has five sections it contracts into a very small package - it measures only 16.9" when closed, which makes for easy storage in a backpack. Supporting up to 11 lb, the monopod weighs less than 0.8 lb., so it's easy to keep it in your travel bag for achieving stable shots in a pinch.
