About RPS Studio

Eliminates the need for a cable release. Allows the camera to be fired from an extended distance of up to 300 feet, unobstructed. Uses RF (radio frequency) signals, not line of sight like infrared.

Designed to fit specific cameras. Transmitter has a two-position switch, press lightly for prefocusing, and then continue pressing to release the shutter.

LED lights indicate prefocus and exosure. May be used on up-to 16 channels, user settable. Also allows the receiver to trigger the camera and thus be used as a "wired" cable release.

RPS Studio Features

  • RF Omni-directional
  • Range of over 300 feet
  • 16 channels (User Selectable)
  • Two position switch:
  • Touch lightly to prefocus
  • Continue pressing to release shutter
  • LED confirmation lights
  • Accessory shoe to fit on top of camera
  • May also be used as a wired shutter release

Good store, bad product

How you use the product. Never used it. Didn't work from the start Things that are great about it. Nothing great except the store that sold it. Things that aren't so great about it. Got a replacement for the first one that did't work and it didn't work either. Both units came with a dead battery installed and the cable was to short to connect on my Nikon D80.

Not a good product

from Stevens, Pa.  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I ordered this item twice. The first one I received had a slightly bent anti and the battery was installed in the transmitter when it should have been in a bag. The battery was stone dead. I returned it (Adorama is great to deal with) and they sent me another unit. Sorry to say it wasn't much better. Anti ok, but once again the battery was installed in the transmitter and stone dead.
