Instructions are poor

Easy to install, useful for triggering shutter while on tripod, I could not figure out from instructions how to get remote to work. I like the idea of a radio remote, omni-directional. if anybody has a clear explanation how to use it on my D7000/D7100, I would like to read it.

Works like a champ for D7100!

Easy to use and great range. No line of sight needed since wireless!

Cheap wireless remote

The product works great for a wireless remote on the Nikon D7100. The only thing I noticed, if you use the shutter button instead of the remote it shut off and I had to turn on again. A minor issue.

Mine works but instructions are useless

Use on D7000 Just started it up in Oct. Put in batteries. Hooked it up Experimented to find switch positions vs camera settings that worked. Instructions that come with it are a joke. "Looks pretty, fashionable sleek, shiny" Halfway decent feel. Only questinable thing so far is the plug that hooks it to the camera. A slightly soft rubbery composition that may not stand up well over time. Not enough data to give any information on reliability, range, or battery life.

Appears to have good wireless range

Switchable shutter release mode from Self Timer to manual/bulb. Appears to have good wireless range, I used it at about 100ft, I didn't try further, though that could be useful for wildlife. It would be even better if it was digitally programmable. Some people mentioned while using this that the "camera focuses but will not fire" I think that could be a low light issue with auto focus and not the wireless shutter release. (For long exposures at night try switching the lens/camera to manual focus) Purchased from Adorama.

Not working with D90

Arrived with the sending unit battery (12V) not functional. Bought new one and now transmits. (needs 2xAAA for receving unit, but they tell you that.) Unit will get D90 to do the AF but will not take the picture. Probably a mis-match setting on D90, but the instruction page with remote provides no help. Only website is the distributor. So, it doesn't work - so far. (always gotta be optimistic). And you wonder how long its been on the shelf with low battery. Would like to recommend it, but would be nice if it was functional.

Works great on my Nikon D5000

I have stood for hours with my camera waiting for the perfect humming bird picture and almost every time the slightest movement causes the hummers to scatter. I have hundreds of pictures of an out of focus sky.........Now I sit on my porch or in my living room and get great photos with my camera on a tripod focused perfectly on the feeder.

Great Remote for the money

This remote works great with no problem at all. The signal distance is reasonably good. A good buy for the money.

Fipbac

What i found was that it becomes part of the camera when attached eg... Does not look like a 'stick'-on'. Super protection of lens, and great for those low, including macro shots... You end taking and getting photo's that you never thought you could. Cool AS
