This was by far the worst purchasing experience I've ever had. First off, Adorama didn't bother totell me that this remote release does NOT work wit the Nikon D3100 without the receiver; I was under the impression that there was a setting in the camera that would allow it to pair up. WRONG! My bad, but knowing I was purchasing it, they might have asked if I needed or already owned the reciever part. Secondly, the item was shipped to Bellmawr, NJ, which is about 35 miles from where I live in Millville, NJ. But instead of then delivering it to my house, they shipped it to Gaithersburg Maryland for some inexplicable reason. It was beyond the expected delivery date by about 4 days. Adorama customer service was no help at all.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
JAMES V  This is a piece of junk and I would not recommend it. It did not work out of the box. Since returning it would cost me just as much as the remote, I tossed it to the trash. Save your money, time and aggrevation, get the Nikon original. Well worth the extra 10 dollars
Shopper  Has anyone used this with a Nikon D3100?
STEVEN M  I have no Idea.
