NOT Universal
This is not a universal adapter. I bought it for my Canon SX120 and returned it because: 1)This requires that the camera's tripod mount be directly behind the lens, which it is not on the SX120. 2)The zoom lens of the SX120 is too long for this to work. I suspect this will not work on quite a few digitcams.

This is a must have!
The Zeikos point and shoot adapter is the best thing I have come across! It fits on my Sony WSC-230 without any issues and makes it very easy to attach my spotting scope to my camera now when I am in the hills. Very compact and light so it doesn't get in the way either.

I bought it as a present
I haven't used the Zeikos lens adapter, but it looks well made. I bought it for my stepdaughter, she's an avid birdwatcher, to attach a point-and-shoot to a spotting telescope.
I live in Australia, bought it and sent it on to Lys, who lives in England!
