Dahle 12" Vantage, Personal Guillotine Style Paper Cutter

I use the product to cut hundreds of invitations for one project. It's sturdy and cuts crisply thus far. 2 things that turned me off, which is why I'm only giving this product 4 stars- the arm that comes down with the guillotine to hold the paper in place, is wide and crooked. The crooked part throws me off a bit when I'm trying to cut straight lines (which is always) and the wide part doesn't allow me to cut pieces of paper that are less than about 1" wide because it's covered up by the arm. #2, I couldn't cut more than 4 sheets of cardstock without getting the jagged edges and crooked cuts on the sheets at the bottom. Overall though- a good product for a good price!

Easy to line up. Makes straight cuts.

My projects require me to splice cut sheets together. It's important the the cutter's blade makes straight, clean slices for perfect joints. The Dahle 12" paper cutter far exceeds my stringent requirements for accuracy and safety. It's the best cutter I've ever used.
