The only problem I have with this charger is that the batteries don't seem to last as long as with other chargers. However, I like the car adapter option and the long cord!

Charger charges quickly, although the batteries do get VERY warm when charging - so much so that the decal covering the batteries shrinks due to heat. This changes the size of the battery just enough that is has a problem fitting into tight spots unless you "encourage" it. Battery life seems good. Really like the fact that the charger works on DC power as well.

I used this product out at a wedding and it worked as advertised. I noted that it becomes a bit warm but I use it to charged 2850ma batteries. I would by this product again.

At this price I was worried about the quality of the merchandise I would receive, but once I opened the shipping box it was obvious that I had gotten the best deal around on a combination charger. This charger does AA, and a convenient flip-down contact converts it for AAA use also. It comes supplied with four high quality AA rechargeables, and even includes a 12v car adapter! Many chargers costing more than twice as much do not offer these features. The construction is solid and I am solidly impressed with the level of quality I received from Adorama, along with quick shipping, for very little money. Thanks Adorama!

I just received the unit. it came almost fully charged, so you're ready to shoot as soon as possible. It has indicator light for power ON and charging cycle. Even though the accu are only 2300mAh, that is enough for most of users, so a great product. Hope it last a long time....

I use this for my off camera flash and one charge gets me through a short session and has really cut down on the AA batteries I've been burning through.

The charger is small and works well. It appears that if one used 4 short metal spacers the charger could also be used for AAA batteries.

I plugged this thing in the first time on the four hour setting; I kept waiting and waiting for the charging led to stop blinking green. Never happened, I came back to extremely hot batteries and a plastic burning smell- the batteries have been cooked. The batteries are also not held securely in the charger and feel if they were going to pop out.
