I like that Dell recycles the cartridge for the Dell 1700, however it would be nice if they provided a return label.

I have an old printer, but having a new toner cartridge makes it operate as good as new. The print is crisp and clear, and the cartridge was easy to install. The only problem I had was trying to change the (incorrect last four digits of the shipping zip code. I tried repeatedly and finally got it, I thought. When the product arrived, it still had the incorrect last four zip code numbers. I guess I give up.

I am very happy with my new High Yield Toner Cartridge for my 1700 Dell Printer. I ordered it and it was delivered the next day by a very nice FedEx man. The sleek cartridge was easy to install and I didn't get any black mess on my hands. My printed pages now print with dark black ink and are easy to read. After approximately 6,000 pages of printing I get to do it all over again. I can't wait! Thank You Dell!!

I have been using this cartridge for years! Execllent full black toner quality, very easy to install and lives up to its copy maximum. This toner is always available, ordering is very simple and the cartridge arrives quickly. Recycling is very convenient and environmentally friendly. The Dell 1700 6,000 Page Use and Return Toner Cartridge is easy to return. Just use the pre-paid UPS sticker that comes with the new cartridge, pack the old cartridge in the box, and take it to a UPS shipping center or drop it in a UPS box. I think the 6,000 page printing is probably right, if you are only printing written words. But any special formatting or graphics will use more ink.

Reordering the Toner Replacement for the DEll 1700 Laser Printer is somewhat complex as there are several web-pages to "hurdle." But a Computer-literate person can "ferret" his way through. An average person would be lost. It is too bad this toner cannot be bought at OfficeMax or Office Depot.

The toner is adequate for the price and performance you should expect of a product in it's price range. Overall the 1700 series are 'good' printers. Our company has 3 of the 1700n printers - one of which has been worn out (just over 1 year old and recently purchased 2 - 1720dn printers for additional low volume printing and personal lasers for employees. If you are looking for a higher quality and higher volume printing solution... look at one of the higher end Dell printers.

Because images are part of the newletters my wife puts out I've come to grips that only 2K pages will exhaust the 6K page toner cartridge.
