Good product and fast shipping, but if this is a Use and Return item why not include the return label in the box??? Where do I go to request a label?

As a CPA, I am always concerned about the "bottom line". You cannot go wrong, by pitching out that ink-jet and getting a printer that will roll out 3,500 pages (or more for a price just north of $100.

I enjoy using the Toner Catridge for my 2230d Laser printer because it is my way of giving back and helping the environment. Anything that I can do to use and help the environment is a plus in my book. I did have a choice in the toner that I selected but when I saw the words Use and Return, my mind was made up. Thanks for the good choices given and don't change anything.

We have used the printer for almost two years and have had to replace the toner cartridge on a regular basis, but this is for work, so we do print a fair amount. It does produce a very nice printed page and the cartridge is easy to replace.

My newest Dell printer uses this later toner cartridge, and I am on my third refill. It always prints beautifully, and I am grateful for the free return shipping on my used cartridge. My only complaint is how difficult it is to find the page to order a new toner cartridge. That's a lot of clicking, scrolling, and digging to find my model. Streamlining it would make things much easier.

The first 2230d didn't print straight across the page. Dell replaced within three days. The second would not print checks without jamming. Dell support could not fix the problem. I used the various printer settings ruining 10's of checks in the process over the next month, or so, and could not keep it from jamming. I tried to contact Dell support again, and on all three occasions was sent to "pay for support" support. Enough said. We have worn out 3 Dell 1700/1710N printers and have a good 2320d, which was no longer available when we bought the 2230d. We have about 3 dozen Dell computers,but we will no longer be buying any Dell printers.

I just ordered a use and return cartridge so haven't gotten it yet but the price is ridiculous. I like dell products, my laptop and my printer, but this feels like a rip off and has made me rethink my loyalty to dell. I just bought the printer and had been pretty happy with it, though the toner cartridge it came with ran out really quickly and even when it said "half full" was printing with a huge swath of too-light-to-read ink down the middle. I'll see how long this one lasts, but meanwhile will be researching knock-off brands for my printer and when the printer dies, no more dell.

Shipping was prompt. The item worked as described, unlike cheap toner I buy for my copier from competitors. I recently purchased toner from Staples for my copier and the item did not even work. I had to take time to call and return the item. "You get what you pay for" and Dell's products have always worked for me.

Although this toner cartridge works well it is way overpriced for a 3500-page cartridge. Worse, there are no off-brand refills available like there are with other popular copier/printer brands such as Brother, Sharp and Canon. The Use and Return option is a gimmick, as the savings still don't even come close to making up for the overpricing. A quick comparison with other well-known printer brand names indicated that we would be paying 1/8th the cost per page when compared to the Dell 2230d. Goodbye Dell Printers and your overpriced toner!

How disappointing! A great printer but a rip-off of major proportions on the cartridges! I had checked on toner cartridge prices before purchasing but found later that what many are advertising as the toner cartridge is actually the drum. Otherwise I would not have purchased even though it is a great printer. I will double and triple check before I ever buy another Dell product. This is a deliberate effort on their part to force the expensive cartridges onto us. Stating that the cartridge must be returned as a condition of the purchase and not disclosing this up front stinks! Also, how can the Overall Rating be a 5 star when I see two - 1 star ratings and only one - 5 star rating? Must be Dell new math: 1+5+1 divided by 3 = 5? Tell us the truth! How can it be an Overall Rating when it is based on only one rating but there are three ratings there? Deceptive! Deliberate? And what is with the part numbers for the cartridge? Is it 330-4130 or 330-4131 or P579K or P578K or M795K* or M795K?

A use and return toner cartridge that is only $20 (14% cheaper than the new ones is highway robbery! There should be a 5-6000 page high yield cartridge for about $100 (like the 2330d printer). My old Dell 1700 had great deals on use & return high yield cartridges. If I'd known about this when I purchased the Dell 2230d printer, I would have chosen something else--maybe not even a Dell! Come on Dell, get real and give us a high yield cartridge at a reasonable price.

The 2230d black and white laser printer is a great printer. However, the toner cartridge is far to expensive!! It should only cost "no more than $50.00" because it only prints 3,500 pages. If it would cost $50.00 for a "use and return" cartridge I would purchase 2-3 at a time.
