As a student and a collegiate level professor, I have been satisfied with this product. Most of my printing jobs have been black and white, and there have been a lot of them. As a research scientist, I can depend on this product for my needs.

I have hsd this printer for almost 5 years and am finishing up my second cartridge. It is a trooper and I seldom have a jam. I really think I have gone over the 6000 page mark. I use this printer every day for everyday printing and for writing our company checks. Crisp and clear!

As a single parent, I have only myself to rely on. Choosing Dell products has made my life easier. My latest purchase, a Dell Laser printer has been a life saver for printing out alot of two high school students homework! For me, ordering a replacement cartridge, and installation couldn't be easier. I really love the "use and return" feature... save our planet!

This printer toner always runs clean (no errant marks or messy leaking bits. It always seems to run at least the minimum number of pages that it claims to be, and I am consistently printing high-coverage pages (text-heavy documents). Plus, if you buy the use & return cartridge it is far less expensive than the regular cartridge. They include a ready-to-go label in the box and you just slap the label on it and send it back in the same box.

I have been totally impressed with Dell Printers and computers for over 12 years now. Great company always there for assistance to business clients. Toner cartridges are of outstanding quality and prices mark well in comparison to other manufacturer's printers,toner cartridges and ancillary equipment. I've recommended Dell for years to both business and home users/customers.

Printer works well and ink cartridge is easy to install. I appreciate Dell's use and return policy and I think Dell is a great company but I still think the cartridge seems overpriced.

Great product and service. Very easy to order online, and received it in about 3 days using standard free shipping. Cartridge is good for at least 6,000 pages, and Dell has made it very easy to return the empty cartridge. I have ordered several of these through past 4 - 5 years and have been pleased every time!

Granted, this isn't my first rodeo, but getting my ink cartridge from dell.com and installing it couldn't be simpler. This is THE easiest install of a high-capacity laser toner cartridge I've ever had. And it got here fast -- I ordered it on a Tuesday and it was here by Friday. It also lasts forever (depending on how often you use it. My Dell 1720 Laser Printer is for personal use so I can get away with only having to order a cartridge about once a year which more than makes up for the cost. This is the easiest, simplest, and least expensive way to go. Couldn't be happier.

The quality, pricing and performance of the high capacity toner for my 1720dn is fine. No complaints there. I was surprised to see, however, that the recycling return was canceled by Dell with a statement in the packaging materials that there was no need to return the used cartridge for recycling. Not wanting to negatively impact the landfill, I let the old unit sit in its box until my next trip to Staples. True, Dell's price saved me money over Staples' price, and I added the benefit of getting $3 recycling credits from Staples, but if Dell markets the product as "use and return" I think Dell needs to stand by its word.

I've used the Dell 1720 printer cartridges for over a year. The key to getting at least 6000 pages of output is to regulate the amount of toner used per page. I use the preference options to set most of my prints for draft (600dpi) and use a toner darkness level of 4 or 5.

I have now used three Recyclable Cartridge replacements. I found them easy to remove and install, mostly because of the thoughtful design that simplifies this process. The print quality is great as well. Such a simple process; go online to order, receive in a day or two, remove the expired cartridge cleanly and simply, install the new one, package the expired cartridge and return it in the pre-addressed prepared package. What convenience!!!!!!!!!!!11

The Dell Toner use and return program is easy to do and will save you money. The Toner cartridge itself is great. Never any compatibility problems as I have had in the past when not buying the manufacture's brand toner. Last a long time (6,000 page high yield). I say-Just buy it!

I don't see any reason for anyone to use the non-return toner. Not only does this method save money, but it saves you from having to dispose of the old toner cartridge.
