This is why I stay with Dell-branded products. The toner arrived quickly and installed even faster. The return shipping label provided allows me to return the old used toner to Dell at no charge so that it can be disposed of properly.

The product works well and I loved my Dell laser printer, so this gets 2 stars, but the price is such that every time I buy toner I like Dell and the printer less and less. Laser has historically been the best value in printing, but it appears that the Dell laser department is feeling left out of the inkjet ink money grab, and are trying to "get me some of that" lately. ~$700 package to replace the toner cartridges? Really?

The DELL high-yield toner unit is expensive, but I've tried generic after-market toners in our color laser printer, and they failed. The failure cost us valuable time and trouble troubleshooting etc. It's not too much to ask your printer (and toner to function when you hit PRINT, is it? The DELL toner gives us more confidence in uninterrupted service. Also, the high-yield model, will, I hope, ultimately reduce our toner costs, we'll see.

I have used Dell products for over 10 years both at home and in business. Between my family and I, I have purchased just about every type of Dell computer and they have all performed well. So when I needed a printer at work I naturally turned to Dell and purchased a laser printer. It has been absolutley reliable and the toner cartridges last seemingly forever. When I do need to replace one I have it through the website within a couple of days. They are easy to install and always have worked flawlessly. I'd buy another and I recommend them to friends.

Bought off brand a year ago - very disappointed in print quantity and cartridge dust it was leaving in my printer. Would NEVER buy off brand again - you get what you pay for and my printer is far too valuable of a tool for my job to settle for anything less than perfect.

So far so good. We are an office of 7 and go through a box of paper a month to a month and a 1/2. We have never had any problems with our 3110cn or high yeild toners. We order a full set of toners about every 6 months. Other then it being expensive, approx. 2500/yr, we are glad to not have any issues!

7-23-2006 ordered the Dell 3110cn printer (rated 31ppm black, 17 color, after extensive research, for $399. It came with full, standard toner cartridges - I got the whole thing for about the price of the cartridges. (I hated those color inkjet cartridges that dried up before I used them much.) In my spreadsheet comparing the various printers available at the time, I planned for it to last me three years. My plan was, and is, to discard the printer when I need to order color cartridges. We have two computers and occasional others at home, and set them to print black only. We can select good quality color at any time. The color cartridges remain 60% full! The black is down to 25% again, and I just ordered my third 8000-page black refill cartridge (over 3.5 years after getting the printer). Every week, I print 24 identical sheets, manually duplexed, for my bridge club - in addition to our own printing. I have also printed 60-80# cover stock in various colors, legal size, manual feed. This specific toner cartridge has served me well, and I would seriously consider another Dell printer of the same or better specs. The network printing is excellent, although the PostScript driver stopped working. Note that Windows XP Home (on our Netbook) does not print over the network.

I followed the simple instructions; pull zip cord, shake lightly, slide onto the printer cartridge rails, and re-start the printer. The cartridge was imediately recognized and the printer re-calibrated. The test page printed perfectly and I was done. I have been burned by non-OEM printer cartrdige atleast 50% of the time in terms of print quality, longevity (way less than the advertised number of printed pages), plug and play (not recognized cartridge or caused other color cartridges to be reported as empty or needing to be replaced), etc. NOT with this cartridge; an OEM cartridge from Dell. It cost $15.00 more than teh cheap non-OEM products, but it works as advertised. Spend the extra money and go on with your mission-critical core work.

We got the printer for work to print in house spec sheets. Not sure the cost is really worth it for how fast we go through ink due to miss printings.

These cartridges are costly and seemed odd it was no good. Had to send a technician out to see what was wrong cause I didn't think it was that cause it was brand new and I had just installed. I am returning to you to look at and would appriciate a replacement.

while the price may seem a little steep, I can tell you that my deskjet printer before this was going through cartridges every 6 weeks at 27.99 a pop which equals more than what I'm paying now AND I have better print quality & reliability
