About Dolica Video Pan Head

The Dolica ST600P Video Pan Head is video centric designed pan head that utilizes an extra-long 10"pan arm to control pan and tilt simultaneously. The advantage of a video head is you are able to pan and tilt your camera or camcorder to follow a moving object or person. This is perfect for video since other head designs will not allow the same single pan arm control as video pan head. This video pan head is also suitable for photography as it can accurately position or frame an object with use of the pan arm.

The Dolica ST600P also utilizes a fluid design in panning and tilt to allow for smooth video capture of moving objects. Capable of holding up to 9lbs and makes it suitable for entry and mid DSLRs and Camcorders. It has upgraded features such as degree angle marks and bubble level.

Questions about this item:

mike h  Does this head pan 360 degrees without loosening it up? I just bought the ST-600B tripod and that really doesn't pan. If you loosen to move, the ball holding the camera is also loosened.
Andrew R  This unit has separate locking mechanisms for tilt and pan. 360 degree pans should not be an issue.
J G  How do you remove/replace the heads on a Dolica tripod?
TENNY W  It screws off at the neck underneath the pan/tilt. Just be careful not to screw it on too tight.
manuela n  Can I replace the ball head B 100 with the Dolica Video Pan Head on my tripod Dolica proline?
DAVID S  Hello. I think you can. I bought this same pan head for my TX570B150SL and I think the ball head that came with it was the B100. You might want to do a little more research because my paper work does not spell out B100. It just references the head as BALL HEAD, no model number of it... but they sure look the same.... Hope this helps. Try going on a tripod forum and posting the question.
