Dulce Systems Pro DQ xc 8TB Hard Drive Array, PCI Express x8 RAID Controller

The 8TB PRO DQ xc Hard Drive Array from Dulce Systems is a Quad Channel SATA II hard drive array that is compatible with Mac and Windows computer systems. Included is a dedicated PCI Express x8 controller card, which allows you to configure the array as a RAID 0, 3, RAID 5, or RAID 6.

Each of the 8 enterprise-class drives in the array is a high-performance 7200rpm 3.5in SATA disk. When configured as a RAID 3 or 5, the PRO DQ xc is capable of sustained transfer rates of up to 690MB/sec. You can configure as a RAID 0 for 800MB/sec performance, or as a RAID 6 for enhanced data security at 580MB/sec. This allows you to work with multiple real-time streams of many different types of video, including ProRes HQ, DVCPRO HD, and HD 10-bit uncompressed.
