I'm not sure when the change was made but the tapes are thinner now. The tapes keep getting stuck, making the letters overlap. I wasted several rolls thinking perhaps I fed the tape in wrong; however, an old roll I had works fine. Also, the green is much lighter than previous. The glue has improved though as it is much easier now to remove the backing.

No matter how orgnized you are, remembering where you put something in reference to 50 places, you can find it at a glance if labeled. I can take it anywhere to accomplish my need for a job.
