This 21.3" monitor is perfect for CAD/CAM & DTP professionals as well as use in call centers & offices requiring a large screen, sharp text & images, & fast response times.

To enhance moving image playback capabilities, an overdrive circuit is included. Used with many LCD TVs, an overdrive circuit vastly improves the LCD panel's response time for changing between midtones or gray levels, which is necessary to display color images without blurring.

The BrightRegulator function keeps the screen at the ideal brightness level under all lightning conditions. A sensor on the front panel takes readings of the ambient brightness & signals the backlight to adjust the screen brightness accordingly.

The Fine Contrast function offers 5 different imaging modes Text, Picture, Movie, Custom & sRGB for the 1 that best suits the type of application you are using. Toggling between modes is simple with a button on the front panel.

Part of the bundled ScreenManager Pro for LCD utility software, this function lets you assign a Fine Contrast mode to a specific application. Whenever the application is selected, the screen automatically changes to the assigned mode. Also included is a WindowMovie mode, which darkens the surrounding background so the video window appears clearer & brighter.

The 10-bit Gamma Correction technology ensures smooth, accurate color tones by converting the 8-bit PC data to 10-bit, assigning the ideal gamma values, then returning the data to 8-bit format for display.

The stand is height adjustable through an 82 mm range & provides 40° tilt & 70° swivel so every user can easily set the ideal position. It also pivots 90° for portrait mode viewing. Compatibility with VESA mounting standards allows themonitor to be removed from the stand for mounting on a movable arm or wall bracket.

With both DVI-I & D-Sub mini 15-pin inputs, you can use a computer that has either a digital or an analog graphics board (or both if connected to 2 computers), & quickly switch between the inputs via a front panel button.

The Brightness Stabilization Function ensures stable brightness necessary for the proper display of color with EIZO patented technology*. A drift correction sensor quickly stabilizes the brightness level after startup or coming out of power saving mode. Furthermore, the monitor detects & automatically compensates for brightness changes caused by surrounding temperatures & the passage of time.

When resolutions lower than the native resolution are preferred, images can be scaled up to fill most or the entire screen. A 5-stage adjustment smoothing function refines the jagged or blurred text or graphics, which often result from the scaling process.

The product name, serial number, & total usage time can all be confirmed in the on-screen display menu. Complies with leading industry standards, including TCO'03 & TUV Ergonomics. It also conforms to EIZO's own strict environmental criteria.
