Awesome Gel Kit

By

from Stowe, Vermont  -  Semi-pro Photographer

I bought this for the CTO gel. But I can't wait to try out some of the other colors. It comes in a nice velcro bag with dividers to separate the gels from each other. It also has a thick rubber band to attach the gel to your flash.

Love these!

By

I bought these so I can correct color and WB as well as play. They're lots of fun to play with for smoke and water photography. Fairly easy to put on with the accompanying band. They're expensive for what they are. But decent product.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ALLEN H  Recommendation and demonstration by a professional photographer during a seminar
NEIL Z  Will this fit into Canon 600EX's filter holder that comes with the flash unit?
NORMAN T  No.they will not but you can still apply them over the flash head and use the recommended settings for the filters. I use the camera's awb balance or incondescent setting when using the filters with the 600EX flash.
Dwight W  do the gels come with a gel holder to fit your flash ?
KEVIN K  Yes it does. It comes with, what could be described as, a thick, wide rubber band. Once you put this holder on to your flash head, you lift one side of it and insert one of the tabs that are on both ends of the gel, beneath the rubber band. You then do the same on the opposite side of your flash and that's it. It works well, it's simple, and the gel isn't going anywhere once it's secured with the band. I've had two of these setups for two years now and have never had a problem.
