Questions about this item:

Rick H  Hi, I'm trying to get my flex tt5 to fire a genesis 200. I bought a cord at WalMart, it's a Belkin audio cord but it looks exactly like this one. It won't fire my strobe after setting the tt5 to configurations recommended by pocket wizard. Could it be that this cord is the problem? This is the second cord I've tried and not working so I'm thinking maybe my settings in the pocketwizard are not right.
AMY P  Hey Rick! The Belkin cord that you bought might be a stereo cord not a mono cord . They look very similar but the way to tell is that there is one groove with the painted line not two grooves- with pained lines. The stereo cord would have 2 grooves yet still fit in the receiver but it wouldn't work. Could that be the problem? I would recommend buying a mini male mono cord with only 1 groove and trying that. Good Luck! Amy
Rick H  Thank you and Patrick both. I found this out after looking at my box for the first cord I bought. I went to Radio Shack on Patrick's advice and got a mono cord and it's working like a charm now. Rick Harris
