Good Choice

After doing considerable research I purchased the Feisol CB-40D Ball Head to go with my new Feisol Tournament CT-3442 Tripod. To date I am very happy with my purchase. The combination is light enough to carry while hiking, it feels solid and was fairly simple to put together (with a little direction from YouTube). After contacting Feisol about a carry bag; I got a quick reply and found it can indeed fit in the included bag with the center column & tripod head attached. (Simply reverse fold the legs over the tripod head.) Time will tell whether it deserves 5 stars but so far I am very happy.

Great ball head!

Great ball head. Feels like a much more expensive ball head. Paired with the Feisol CT-3401. It's a bit on the heavy side - feels like its almost the same weight as the tripod itself. That said, better that than being half as heavy as a much heavier aluminum tripod. Really great! Check it out!
