The Fantasea FD-70 which is made of injection molded polycarbonate housing with ergonomically designed handles, is a compact, lightweight underwater housing that is easy to hold and use. The FD-70's features an interchangeable port system which accommodates a wide variety of SLR lenses, allowing photographers to capture the widest variety of fantastic underwater images.

The Fantasea FD-70 aside from being an underwater camera housing also provides protection for the D-70 against damage from rain, snow, dust, sand and dirt. Resistant to most liquids and sprays, it can be used as a valuable tool for many commercial, industrial, as well as medical applications.

A unique O-Ring & gasket seal is featured in the FD-70 system. It is rated to a depth of 200 feet (60 meters). A specially designed tray slides the D-70 into the FD-70 housing. Latching buckles on the back door snap shut, sealing the system with a sound watertight seal once the camera is inside the housing .
