...judge it by it's own merits. The color isn't as saturated and it looks, well, different. But not too much. It's not a cheaper version of straight 50/100 Velvia, more of a toned down look.

I've used Velvia 100F since it was introduced for mixed Interior Lighting conditions, as well as Nature Photography because it isn't as Contrasty as Velvia 50, but it is Warmer than plain old Velvia 100.

Although I now shoot mostly digital, I still enjoy shooting film and using my vintage twin lens cameras. My wife can see the difference in between a digital image and the superior scan from my slide film

Who needs digital when you have film like this! Blows away any digital equipment I've used!

I really like this film for aerial photography. Sharpest film I've used yet. Not quiet as saturated as Velvia 100 (non-F). I haven't tried Velvia 50 yet, but this is my favorite film for showing great detail.

The only reason I would NOT recommend this film is that I don't think it's appropriate for most hobbyists, and I don't want my direct competitors to "discover" it, if they haven't already.

Fujichrome Velvia 100F retains the exciting color reproduction that Velvia 50 is known for while providing significant advance in speed, grain, versatility and color reproduction.
Experience a high level of color saturation with Velvia 100F. An ISO 100 color reversal film employing the industry's first Multi-Color-Correction Layer (MCCL) technology.
