This is good solution for lens where you want to leave your WA filter on it and you want to use a lens cap. This fits well on my lens. The only issue I would see is its not hard as plastic lens cap you get with your lens. hence may not protect it 100% . But I would still say this is better than leaving your filter open.

+ Good snug fit - more difficult to seat on filter than standard lens cover

Secure cap for filters that don't accept a traditional lens cap, very secure easy to remove with gloves on more reliable than ordinary lens caps

I bought these as a much cheaper alternative to the Arri caps. They do not fit very well, mainly due to being made out of a fairly hard plastic rather than a softer rubber. They are totally friction fit and look a bit distended when installed. These are OK for the cheapest kits but I will probably replace them for use on nice lenses.

Needed a cover for a slim polarizing filter and this works perfectly. Fits tight, easy to remove, thinking of buying more to use instead of the manufacturer's lens cover.

It fits snuggly on my 10-24 lens. Needs something on the front to allow it to be removed when the lens cover is in place. Love having something to cover my lens while the filters are in place.

I have a couple of 77mm lens caps, none of which come close to staying on the thin WA filter threads. I mean, they stay on, but only when the camera is in your hands - as soon as you put the camera into a bag or whatever, the regular lens caps pop off. This one is a bit snug on my setup, but it works. It stays on until I pull it off

This is the slim lens cap that finally fit snugly. Not too loose or too tight. It stays snugly on my Canon 17-40 L with Tiffen slim 77mm circular polarizer. No more leaving the filter exposed while I'm walking around looking for best shots or setting up other gear. Only issue was a little excess plastic from the plastic mold on the inside that I clipped with nail clippers. For the price, this works better and beats the more expensive brand. A little advice, you need to search for "slip on" lens cap rather than "push on" or "slim cap". Adorama and manufacturer please take note to add these keywords to the name and description.

I recently bought a Canon 77mm circular pl-c filter, and the lens cap that came with the lens wouldn't fit on the filter. I checked with Adorama, and they have this slip on lens cap, which I ordered. The price was great, and so is the cap. It stays on, and is strong enough to do a good job of protecting the filter. It's just right for the job.

I've tried several lens caps for my shallow polarizing filter. All of them fell off easily...except for this one. This was has a much deeper "skirt" and it's really secure. The price is reasonable, too.

Excellent cap that stays on. Perfect for my Singh-Ray polarizing filter. Very durable quality too.

I got this with a lens kit, it also came with a short (in height) tiffen uv filter with it. I usually use regular lens caps that have the finger clamps that are standard issued with most DSLR lenses. These standard lens caps will not fit on the shorter filters because the threads are not long enough. So I tried out the slip on cap, I took it out hiking and it continually ended up in the bottom of my top loader camera bag, even when I tried to secure it. At one point it sliped off the end of my camera and down a sandstone face and became a frisbee (which it works great as). If you are a less rigorous camera user, maybe this would stay on the end of your lens just fine. As for the rest of us, this may be a product to avoid.

I wouldn't usually write a lens cap review, but this is the guy you want if you have a slim filter on a WA lens, because the ones that need threads to grab won't work. What you need to know: IT WORKS!

A great substitute for the more expensive Singh Ray model.

It is big enough, and does a good job covering the lens. Not much more to say about a lens cap.

Initially disgruntled that I had to buy another lens cap to go with the threadless UV filter on my wide angle lens, I found the slip on cap to be a lot more convenient, particularly with stiff fingers on February mornings. I may actually replace all my lens caps.

You have a thin WA filter with no threads on the front to hold your lens cap on. So you either go without the cap or you drop [$] on a simple solution to the problem. And IT DOES FIT! The only drawback is your adding to the diameter of the lens and removing or installing a shade is usually made impossible if this cap is in place.
