Perfect Fit
I had purchased a Nikon D5100 and a Lens 55mm-300mm which I realized later was a 58mm as opposed to the kit lens which was 52mm in diameter. I had quite a few 58mm filters. Thanks to this adapter I am able to use the filters with the kit lens. Thank you, thank you...

Can't seem to be able to use it
I wanted this to allow me to use a 58mm filter for my 52mm lens. The first time I tried using it, the adapter and filter had to be pryed apart. They would spin to unscrew, but since that time I cannot get it to work with my lense. It's really been frustrating.

Does what it says
If you're looking to use 58mm filters on a 52mm lens then this will do the trick. Not much to say other than it works.

Does what it's meant to
Does exactly what it's supposed to. Let me save money on filters by buying one to match my largest lenses & adapt to my smaller one. Can be a little tricky to get threaded at first.

Nice. Seems sturdy.
This mount seems very sturdy, and it fits my filters nice and tight (but not too tight). : ) I recommend this product.

Very simple to use
I got this step-up ring to use with a new lens so I wouldn't have to buy new filters I have for my other lenses. It is easy to use and the metal construction should make it last a while.

Adapter Does The Job/Saves Money
I already had a selection of filters for my 58mm lenses and didn't want to invest in new filters when I added a new 52mm Macro lens to my camera system. This inexpensive adapter allows me to use my existing filters on the new lens.
