I purchased this item to save a few hundred dollars on a new filter set for my 62mm lens.

I use it to make travel lighter. By converting my 62mm Nikon to 77mm I use the same size lens attachments for three different lenses. No downside here.

Nice little adapter. Need to use caution when using these as the threads are very, very fine. The danger of cross-threading is high. However, this is typical for ANY adapter.

I CONVERT ALL MY LENSES TO A STANDARD 77mm SO THAT I HAVE ONLY ONE CAP OR FILTER SIZE FOR ALL MY LENS COLLECTIONS. MAKES FOR FEWER THINGS TO PACK AND CARRY WHEN OUT AND ABOUT... THIS ADAPTER IS WELL BUILT AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM! ADORAMA IS A GREAT SUPPLIER WITH MANY FIRST RATE ITEMS AT HAND, JUST FOR US. Thank You Adorama!

I have 4 lenses that I needed polarizers for. I was looking at $500+ if I bought one for each lens. Instead I bought 1 77mm filter and 3 of these step-up rings. The total for those 4 items was about [$].

This is as good as it can be for the money. Nothing to say except it's round, black marked on the edge and well made. I have a B+W step up adapter, 3 times more expensive and nothing special about it except may be a better coating. I would buy anytime this kind of adapaters and never pay more for the brand ones.

Allows you to use larger size filters on lenses with a smaller diameter thread. The first number is the size that screws into the lense, the second number is the filter size.
