Light enough to go anywhere.
Enough light to go everywhere.
Dream of the power and precision of tungsten lighting without the heat and maintenance of hot lights? The new Flashpoint CL-1300B LED Panel Light provides 1296 points of soft directed lamination, blending beautifully to create a cool bathe of flattering 5600k daylight or 3200k tungsten warmth. The pristine pure LED glow is pleasant to subjects within close proximity. Subjects are comfortable and ready for action, avoiding irritating breaks for make-up refreshcaused by rising studio temperatures. You will never sweat another shoot or struggle with color balance and gels.
The Flashpoint CL-1300B LED Panel Light offers spectacular flexibility in a modular concept. Designed for up to 4 multi-unit array with interlocking ports and series cable. Check out the optional remote control extensions that are integral to the unit's design. You can actually control the intensity and color balance of each panel globally and use the remote symmetrically to all units simultaneously. Now you have a superior setup of linking several units for the ultimate 4X4' light wall or complete master LED studio!
Enjoy the freedom of lighting portability. Industry standard 7.2 volt V-mount batteries stand ready to be added to the back of each panel and energize your shoot wherever you desire. The black ABS shell is tough enough for active field use, but amazingly trim and thin for the location pack. Never travel with fear of a loss for efficient light quality with ultimate flex energy saving from AC/DC and pro DC 7.2V batteries that let you work at will.
The latest LED technology.
Uncompromised light quality.
Unheard of value.

One of the brightest advances in technology is the advent of the light-emitting diode (LED), a two-lead semiconductor light source. When an appropriate voltage is applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine with electron 'holes' within the device, releasing energy in the form of photons. This effect is called electroluminescence, and the color of the light is determined by the specific energy band gap of the semiconductor.
Impressed yet? No?
LEDs are small, durable and need little power, so they are used in LED strobe lights or continuous camera lights without detrimental heat output, and operate at a safe, low voltage, instead of the 250+ volts commonly found in xenon strobe tube-based lighting. This is especially useful in lighting for videographers, where space is at a premium and bulky voltage-raising circuitry is undesirable.
Each LED gem glows with exceptional brilliance of light and human genius that old Thomas Edison would have surely appreciated.
