About 6 months of moderate use and the tripod leg locking mechanism not longer works. You might want consider paying more for a product that will last more than a few months.

The tripod arrived in a mildewed case. One leg did not extend and one leg kept falling off. Returned product. We'll see what they send back.

I am using the tripod mainly for my macro class. It is easy to use and very light weight. Great value for the price.

The tripod I received did not have a panning handle. Others who bought the same item said their tripods didn't have handles either. The legs of this tripod can be spread out so the camera can be very low. The center post can be inserted upside down so the camera can be at ground level.

This is a good tipod for the money. It's lightweight and built pretty good. My only complaint is you can experience some droop with the ballhead when using a large heavy lens. Other than that one issue which I work around, I have been happy with it.

Good tripod for the money. I mainly use this for landscape and night photography with my Nikon d7000. The tripod holds the camera and a 70-200 f2.8 which is a fairly heavy lens with no issues.

I am able to use my Flashpoint L100 Aluminum Tripod for both my Nikon D40 w/55-200mm lens and my Olympus EP-2 w/14-42mm lens with no problems. I use my tripod for almost all my shots since I walk with a cane and can not always handhold my cameras w/o the cane getting in the way. The Flashpoint L100 3 Section Aluminum Tripod is perfect for me with its ease of use and stability.

Great value for the money. You would have to spend considerably more to get a tripod significantly better than this one. I like the QD plate and it was an unexpected bonus for the price. I use this tripod mainly for low light shots, shots requiring true leveling for panoramic shots that will be stitched and for air show photography and macro photography.

I use a tripod for extreme closeups and low light photos. I also use for panoramic shots.

@Flashpoint TPL100 offers maximum stability for the outdoor photographer or spotter. It has a multi-adjustable ball head with a quick shoe release system. Offers 24mm tubular legs that are extremely stable and more lightweight than most tripods on the market. The legs can also be adjusted to three different angles to facilitate use on uneven ground or low angle shooting.
