I'm happy with this - I've not checked it for waterproofness with a hose - but it is gasketed and seems great for camera gear. I've added a cut out for dessicant - probably a good idea in all camera bags.

I decided to purchase this case on a whim after seeing it on a flash sale - and I'm glad I did. I had been looking for a way to store my strobes for a while and this case fits the bill perfectly! It's super beefy and secure. I've had no issues with it yet. The case is able to, securely, hold my two Alien Bees B800 strobes and their reflectors; however it can't hold much of the other basic equipment that comes with the strobes (power cords, triggers) With the two strobes laid sideways (the only way they'll fit), it's extremely snug. I even had to hack off half of the thickness of the top layer of padding to get the case to close.

Seems to be holding up as well as my Pelican cases...1/3 the cost...stacks well with them too.

I strap it down to my 4 wheeler with all my gear, dropped while I unloaded it from 4 wheeler I dropped it in water from 2 ft from ground. Opened it up thinking of the damaged lenses and lose of money thinking all of my lenses and accessories was damaged. When I opened it up it wasn't even wet!!! Nor my expensive lenses wasn't damaged. I am really impressed with this case. It gave me the security I need to safe guard my costly qear. I am so happy I ordered this case. You will get more for your money with this protection. I was impressed I purchased 2 of the hard cases. Thank You

Love the case. It does everything as any other brand would do for way more $. In fact I think the reason why this would be exactly as good is because this is the same case as... (not allowed to name them but you probably found them already.. ) The only 2 cons for me are A, The LID is almost as deep as the bottom and it's a waste of space. It should be half deep then lenses could be stored upright. The foam that you can pick is from 2 parts and easily slide on each other, if you leave only 1-2 squares as dividers it won't last long till they let go and fall out.. B, the lack of accessories available, like foam inserts and padded dividers, I could get the pelican divider but that costs 1.5x more than this entire case+foam insert together..

A well made case with lots a room. Build quality is 80 percent of cases costing two to three times as much. A great value.

I purchased this to protect and transport my Orion Sirius mount head that I use for astrophotography. The mount head fits perfectly in length and width plus I had to remove foam cubes on just one layer, giving it plenty of protection in depth. Now I can get to dark sites without worrying that the mount head could get damaged in transport.
