The adjustable handle is not only comfortable but also repositionable, allowing you to easily adjust the tooth-lock, spring-controlled swivel mount. This feature enables you to change the vertical angle of your light source with ease, providing you with the perfect lighting angle for every shot.The sturdy umbrella bracket is designed to accommodate all sizes of umbrellas up to an 8mm shaft diameter. It allows you to fix the on-axis umbrella at a distance from the light source, ensuring optimal light spread for your photography needs. The top stud of this reliable swivel umbrella adapter is tightened with a large sliding T-handle, while the bottom tightens onto the stand with a large knob. The sliding handle top screw allows you to secure your light onto the bracket, even in tight spaces. The adapter comes with two reversible 5/8" threaded studs, offering a universal solution to gear connectivity. One is a 1/4"-20 female to 3/8" female and the other is a 1/4"-20 male to 3/8"-16 male, which can be screwed into a flash with a female tap. I've bought several similar holders and they've all broke.  This one is sturdy and solid. Love it.

I have purchased a few different brands of these over the years.  But this one is the best quality I have seen.  It's easy to use and works perfectly for my umbrella lighting setup.

I'm very impressed with this holder. Especially for the price. Great adjustment and feels very well built. I primarily use it for my mic boom setup. It makes it very easy to adjust the position of the mic to the subject.

Great adjustment at a bargain price!

I have been using this swivel head for a couple of years now and frankly it just works!  I have had no issues for holding its position as set and is easy to use.

This is the second holder like this that I have purchased because the first one worked so well and was easy to use, stable and held firmly.

Firm and controllable.

I got this because the free swivel umbrella adapter that I got for free with my AD200 just wasn't cutting it. This Flashpoint adapter is a vast improvement. When you set it to a certain position, it stays there. I haven't tried it with a heavier strobe, but it has been perfect with my AD200. I would definitely purchase this again!

Reliable, stays put

Bought this to help anchor my Quantum T-2 flash to my light stand. I bought two and both are excellent. They are well made and sturdy. I highly recommend them.

Fabulous Umbrella Adaptor

Much heavier than the cheaper Chinese version on Ebay. Even the less expensive versoins here at Adorama were heavier than those on Ebay.

Nice handles vs tiny screws. If I'm going to use them a lot, I'm spending a bit more to avoid the aggravation.

One of the tighten bolts was hard to turn and required replacement or, in my case, use if a tap & die system to free it up. On three orders I've had three problems that would require returns to remedy If I didn't have a shop.

I haven’t even used it for an umbrella, I just use it to adjust the mounting of my speedlight for outdoor shoots.  It works great—I’m sure it would work equally well with an umbrella attached.

Considered buying for a while and decided it would work will with my light stand for off camera flash  photography ! It did the job I thought it would! Very glad i  decided to purchase !Now with the umbrella holder I can carry the flashpoint light stand attach my umbrella holder to light stand and I fix my SB900 flash to it and get to s shooting light and convenient !
