I use this product to deliver photo prints within a kraft cardboard mailer. Glassine holds up well, is easy to load, and is easily loaded inside the larger mailer.

wrong product

By

I use this product to store USPS stamp panes or sheets. This order of glassines was different than my first order. My first order measued 7 5/8 X 9 1/2. This order measured 8 1/4 X 10 1/2. Somehow I ordered the wrong one. I will still use them but I need to reorder the smaller size, if I can find them again. Thank you for your site. Ray

LOVE THESE

By

from Douglasville, GA  -  Pro Photographer

I often have many photos to deliver at once, and I love that I can see through these bags to see who they are for without having to write on them or pull everything out. They show just enough, not totally see through. I originally purchased these to "test" them out and see if I liked them. I found that I really love them. They don't cost much, but look very professional.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ROBERT H  These envelopes are the perfect way to package your prints and look more professional than your competition, especially if you are shooting schools or organizations ordering lots of print packages.
Shopper  What makes these archival? Are they safe for long-term storage of very old photos?
CAROLE B  I am not sure of the chemical composition requirements for archival envelopes, but I think it has something to do with whether they have vinyl or latex in them, or whether the paper was processed with bleach, etc. These were recommend by my local photo lab who have been doing extensive archival work for decades. I use primarily for giving prints to customers, but if your purpose is to store prints for very long term, make sure after you put them in these envelopes to put them in archival boxes in order to minimize exposure to light and dust. You can even use the ones that have a self-sealing flap. I bought some of those from Adorama and they work quite well.
Shopper  how many photos can be placed in one bag?
SEAN H  I really like these envelopes, I put one 8x10 photo and a 5x7 in a cardboard frame when i use these at events they really add a nice touch. The most i have put in one envelope is ten but you could put more.
