My Dad was using Fellowes Shredder and highly recommended it to me. Now, I'm a user and highly recommend this product to anyone with a constant flow of paper for home or business.

The shredder I replaced fed the paper from the top directly between the shred wheels. This shredder apparently feeds the paper at an angle over the first cutting wheel and down between the cutting wheels. This seems to cause the paper to stick and needs to be moved around or renter for the for the feed to grab it. Other than that it works well and is quiet.

I purchased my first shredder about 30 years ago, can't remember the brand. It was the type that simply cut the stuff into strips and for a few years I had to empty it every time I used it. I am very security minded and shred anything that can give any indication of who we are and what we do. So in 1999 after getting a bag of crosscut waste from a colleague, I was sold on a similar shredder, so purchased one from Officeworks, I believe it was the fellows Powershredder DS1200Cs, it was box shaped and did a great job until last week. I found my replacement at Costco, a reasonable priced 75Cs. I installed it on 23 June 2018 and I've shredded lots since. I saw the instruction about no cardboard, but I do always shred medicine boxes, which are really made from heavy thick paper, simply because personal information is inherent. I've been doing that for 20 years and never had a problem. The 75Cs is perfect for my use. As an added security measure, to make it impossible for anyone to see our documentation, we box the waste during the warm seasons, then burn it as the second layer of starting paper on my wood heater during the Winter.

over ten years ago I needed a shredder, bought a non Fellowes shredder. It lasted one day. Brought it back to Staples and sales rep recommended Fellowes Bull Dog PS-77Cs. As I said that was over ten years ago, The 77Cs served my office well so there was know doubt when I needed a new shredder I would get a Fellowes. Turns out the model 75Cs (replacement) is almost identical. I am very happy.

This is a replacement for my Fellowes p-7c that saw heavy use at home and if the75Cs serves me as well I will be happy. I like the smaller secure cut size and capability to shred credit cards CDs and staples in the paper. Twelve sheets gets the job done quicker. This is quieter that the old shredder and it will be interesting to see the jam resistance feature. The base could be more solid..

This is a really great shredder! This is the 3rd Fellowes shredder I have owned over the past 20 years and it is the most heavy duty of them all. It easily shreds multiple documents and credit cards! I have only owned Fellowes brand shredders due to their quality and reputation. My only complaint is minor: the bin insertion and removal could probably be a little smother (maybe using ball bearings/mini wheels, etc.?) but it is ok. It also would have been nice if the bin fit inside of a standard paper bag for emptying but due to its short/squat design that probably was not possible. My older Fellowes was taller and thinner and the bin fit inside of a paper bag for emptying but that shredder was cheaper too...and that is why I now own this shredder!

Recently purchased a Fellowes 75Cs shredder, after much research, to replace a Staples 'Mailmate' that had 'given up'. It cost more than initially planned for, but now consider it was well worth it. I wanted a shredder that could comfortably handle CD's and all of the Fellowes models below this one weren't specified as having that capacity. Also like in this model the basic features that tell you all you need to know about it's operation: indicator lights for Overheat, Paper Jam, Safeguard, Drawer Open and On/Off. Especially like the drawer orientation (being wide across and not very deep (making it easier to clean paper out from under the cutters without making much mess). Also, drawer is a good size at 7 gallons. Surprisingly, unit is not very noisy for it's size. All in all, a very well designed and built product. Am extremely satisfied with this product and the decision to buy this from the many others that were considered. A comment posted in a review of the 75Cs on Amazon read, "love it, love it, love it' - couldn't agree more and is definitely warranted here. Would recommend the 75Cs without hesitation. (can't think why Staples doesn't carry it).

I originally purchased a Fellowes shredder, and was very pleased with the quality and performance of the product. When I was ready for an additional shredder, purchasing another Fellowes was an easy choice. Our new shredder failed after about 8 months of use. When I contacted Fellowes support, I was promptly offered a replacement, which was shipped to my home at no charge. I would highly recommend Fellowes equipment, not only because of the quality of their products, but also because of their excellent customer care policy.

I replaced a 15 year old Fellows shredder with the 75Cs shedder and the performance has been outstanding. This is the best shredder I have ever used be it personal or professionally.
