Great Shredder
Bought this shredder after our old one went out on us. We've been very happy with the purchase

It's Truly QUIET!!
I had to use it for a while before I could give it a review. It is well built and very heavy and sturdy. I don't mind shredding now because this shredder is truly quiet compared to any shredders I have had in the past. This alone sold me completely. WOW! I never thought a shredder could be quiet. I live in an apartment and my past shredders were so noisy that I would only shred when the neighbors were not at home. I do a lot of shredding in these days of identity theft. The bin is of adequate size to accommodate my needs, and when it get's full, the indicator light comes on and the shredder automatically stops. I bought the Fellowes brand oil, and I followed the instructions to oil the shredder each time I emptied the bin. My shredders in the past didn't last long because I never saw instructions on how long they should run at a time. It's 10 minutes for this one. Since this is a 2011 model, I did wonder why the SafeSense(R) Technology was not an added feature, but I still highly recommend this shredder to anyone!

Great Product
I have always liked the Fellowes Shredders and have been looking for one for some time. It was a little over the price I originally planned on payibg for a shredder but I feel in the long run will be cost effective. Quality seems superior to most of the ones I looking at to purchase. Also, the operation is so quiet. Can make a few mistake and get rid of them fast and quietly. lol I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a light to medium duty shredder at a reasonable price.
