I received a hidden surprise in my daily junk mail in the form of a U.S. Nickle that was included as a marketing gimmick. As usual, the envelope went straight to my Fellows 8-121C shredder, that I had purchased some years ago. The envelope and it's contents were quite sizeable, but was an easy shred none the less. About halfway through, the shredder stopped abruptly. After fishing the half shredded envelope from the shredder, I found the enclosed nickel that had been shred about one quarter of it's diameter. I fished the nickel out and resumed shredding without a hitch. In my book, that is quality construction and shredding power that is borderline scary.

This paper shredder was terrific when we first bought it, but even after cleaning it many times, we are having problems not even a year into it. At first the shredder would start and stop when inserting paper. Now I need to hold down the button on the top before inserting paper just to make sure the paper goes through completely.

I have only had this shredder a few weeks. It was purchased for home use. Very happy so far. Seems durable, easy to empty, does not take up a lot of room. Purchased a different brand and type of shredder in the past and was very disappointed with it. I know the Fellowes name from my previous employment and trust this one will perform well for many years.

Needed to replace an older Fellowes shredder (8 yrs.) that just up and die......but did a lot of work over those 8 yrs. We checked out a lot of web sites to see what was out there, we always came back to "Fellowes" yes it was more expensive but is well worth it. compared to our old shredder this model is very quite and does what it's intended to do. love the size. Just an all around great shredder.

This replaced an older shredder that just died while I was in the midst of a large shredding project. I am very impressed with how quiet this machine is, and how fast it shreds. It definitely seems to have more durability and be of higher quality than other shredders I have owned. Would definitely recommend stepping up and paying the extra money for this shredder if you want something that can handle lots of work!

quiet operation and seems to work well shredding multiple sheets of paper. Easy to empty. Only downside is that the oiling container should be included with the shredder because now I have to find that...and best type of oil to use was not specified.

This is the first shredder I have ever purchased. I have been comparing different shredders for weeks and the Fellowes PowerShred was the best decision I could have made. It shreds everything so smooth and quite. I love it!

I like the shredder. its quiet, clean, and its durable. I wish the motor could be continuous indefinitely though for bulks of junk that I can just shred at one time. it turns off after the 10 minutes and I have to let it rest for 30 minutes which is time consuming.

This is the best shredder I have ever used. Strong and quiet. Shreds credit cards and cuts through staples nicely. There are less expensive shredders which promise the same performance, but I have tried two others and they do not live up to their claims. It was worth spending a little more and getting a top performer. I highly recommend this shredder.

I had just started an annual document purge process when my old other-brand shredder quit after many years of use. Now that I've had a chance to run several boxes of paper through the new Fellowes B-121C, I'm so glad the old machine died. This shredder is quiet, efficient, feeds easily, and hasn't given me the least bit of a hint of jamming. The bin holds a reasonable amount, and is easy to empty. It was a good value for the price.

Own a Fellowes Shredder at home. Needed a shredder for the office, never considered any other option. Very well constructed and durable. Expected nothing less. Guys are very excited to use the shredder versus letting it pile up in the shred bin. Good job Fellowes, got them excited about something!!

Even though this shredder was a little more expensive than others. I purchased it anyways because it is heavy duty, shreds 12 sheets at a time. Including staples, paper clips, cd and credit cards. I also love the quietness and smoothness of this shredder.

This is hands down the quietest and best performing paper shredder I have owned. I have had at least four other manufacturers shredders in the past and this outperforms those in all aspects. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Just purchased this shredder to replace my old one that jammed up and needed to be shut off manually every-time. This unit is a Cadillac compared to my old clunker. Got lucky found at Wal-Mart got it at a VERY GOOD PRICE, and purchased a 2 year extended warranty just in case the great price i paid was really to good to be true.

purchased this shredder to replace an older one that was smaller. It took every piece of paper I put in it without any problem and it is extremely quiet. was expecting it to be noisier since it was bigger but hardly even hear it running.

I purchased this shredder for my office to clean up the backlog of shredding that needed to be done after our old shredder broke. This one is wonderful! It shreds paperclips, staples, credit cards and up to 12 sheets, though I won't shred that many at once for my own personal reasons. It is very quiet while shredding, which is a big plus as I am in an enclosed office and the other got very loud. I would highly recommend this for anyone that has to do a lot of shredding in an office environment where you need to ensure that what is shredded can't be read afterwards. The only thing that I wish was a bit different was that it does get a bit messy so have access to a vacuum. or carpet sweeper.

It is quiet and efficient and looks good. I read reviews about how great it was and it is. I have been asked by co-workers why I haven't used the shredder. They don't hear it next door. The last one everyone on our floor heard it. I love it.

This shredder does everything I was hoping for. I brought it home, unpacked it, plugged it in and started shredding. It worked perfectly! The pull out bin holds quite a bit of shredding before having to dump it. It easily handled 8 sheets at a time, so I'm sure it can handle 12 as advertised on the box. I like the coasters for ease of moving when needed. The price was in the range I was looking for.

This shredder is AWESOME! It's runs smooth and it shreds beautifully. I bought a shredder one day before I bought this one. After I tested this one, I packed the one previously purchased and exchanged it for another one just like this one. It was a few dollars more, but it's WELL worth it!

EXTREMELY IMPRESSED! Bought as a replacement as our last one died in the middle of operation. Plugged this one in, very impressed with how quiet it is, smooth shredding, no jamming, convenient casters to roll unit around vs. lifting it, has the CD shredder included w/separate bin, temp. warning, etc. AWESOME PRODUCT, highly recommended shredder! Took it out of the box and was very pleased with it's styling. Set it up and found it had casters and a separate bin for shredded CD's. I can stay busy and not worry about having to wait if I need to shred a CD. It's a very nice upgrade from my previous Fellowes Shredder that I've had over five years. The design of the Fellowes, both old and new, are pleasing to the eye and look good in my home office. Shredded the pile of documents that I had waiting and didn't have to turn up the TV.

Very pleased. Replaced one that had quit. Much better quality of construction and very quite. Credit card shredder is not as good as the paper.
