About Glow

The Glow 40" Translucent Umbrella provides diffused lighting around a bright central burst. The lighting and effect can be varied by changingthe distance from flashhead to umbrella. The moderately sized 'shoot though' umbrella offers through diffusion quality when a lightbank is not practical. The lightweight spoke structure spreads the soft light over the area while keeping light lose very low. Whether used as a traditional wrap around reflectedlight source or as a more powerful direct diffuser, it will keep you cool in theshade.

The line of Glow Umbrellas are the direct 'fastpath' to light diffusion.
Each size and material has a function. With much attention to detail from fabric to frame ribs, this umbrella sets the standard for portable light controlfor people and subjects at fantastic value.
Classic White gives an even, diffused lighting effect with soft shadow definition. The closer to the subject the umbrella is placed, the softer the shadow will be. Even though it is the simplest designed umbrella, it has a unique accessory feature, a black opaque cover layer, limiting the light loss that naturally occurs through its white fabric material. Use this version three creative ways: traditional soft bounce, softer and more efficient bounce with the black outer layer, and as a clarity enhancing shoot through diffuser.
The Silver Umbrellalining provides stronger focused lighting, along with soft shadow definition. It is especially suitable for higher light output, greater reach and bringing out details.
