Great product and add on. This allowed me to use the Sherpa 100 on my Garmin Rhino with the standard 110V connector and charge quickly.

Love it ... I drive cross-country every summer and this helps me keep going. Period. If you are smart enough to buy the charger, it is a no-brainer to have this ... Like Peanut-butter and jelly.

Small issue but the cooling fan it pretty loud it sounds like an old school hard drive grinding away. It charges my mac book and dji batteries like a champ though.

I always travel with either a sherpa 50 or 100 depending on if there are long flights invovled. The inverter just opens up even more options for power

I bought this to allow me more flexibiliy in what electronics I have reliable access too. I have a sherpa 50, and I had assumed that this inverter would be powerful enough to charge my computer, a Dell Inspiron 14z mini, as it has the AC wall outlet and is advertised to charge most computers. I decided to test it out as soon as I got it, as I will be going on a work related ice climbing trip and won't always have access to a wall outlet, but my computer won't charge. My smaller electronics, which use the smaller chargers with only 2 prongs and no converter box, charge just fine. Had I known this would be an issue, I would have just gone with the laptop cable instead of this more expensive and essentially useless peice of equipment, and just used a USB for my phone and tablets. I no longer have a reliable access to power for my laptop and have to hope I can find places to charge it during my downtime. The quality is great, and it feels like it would work nicely, but it's function is essentially useless for what I need, and I have no way to send it back until after I get home in a week. Ultimately, unless you have an older peice of electronics that require minimal power to charge and don't use a detachable USB/AC cord, you probably would be better off with the chaining cables.

Bought this because the laptop kit did not have the tip for my laptop and was hoping that it would be able to charge it via the AC charger. The output current specs was a little less than what AC charger needed but I decided to try it and it does work a little hard at times (fan comes on once in awhile) but it does work!

I have equipped all of my Sherpa 50 and 100 units with inverters and they get used all the time to tip back my electric bills with ComEd here in Chicago. We have the highest electric costs in the United States and it just keeps going up and up. It may seem silly but I run fans, recharge electric toothbrushes and shavers, in addition to my portable Dyson vacuum cleaners. All my cell phones and iPad are solar powered as well. My wife and I also camp in Wisconsin and we use them for powering RockOuts and solar lanterns. I just get a real kick out of using solar power, what else can I say.

If your like me and out and about shooting in nature or abroad, having an Inverter for your Sherpa is a must! Charge all your camera batteries and do some quick downloading back ups or quick editing on your mac. The Inverter with a Sherpa gives you the power you need and all fits into a pro camera bag or in a back pack.

I recently bought the serpa 50 and this Sherpa Inverter came with the bundle. I have already had to use it to help charge a friends laptop at a very important moment. It was awesome having the ability to provide the needed power.

This is the fourth GZ product I've purchased and am very impressed with all. I bought this inverter a month ago to use with the Sherpa 100 to run my CPAP on overnight events. The customer service/tech folks there were right on with their projections of how long it would run it. Initial tests put it right at 6 hours. With the "hack" of turning off the lights, hoping to squeeze a little more. Now we just need some warm weather!!

Bought this for a family member and is a must-have attachment for the SHERPA 100. Wish it came with the unit rather than having to buy it separate.

Just returned from an Elk hunt in Colorado where keeping my electronics charged and running was a necessity - My Garmin Rino requires a 110V outlet to charge. The Sherpa inverter coupled with the Sherpa 50 Battery Pack charged my high end GPS for 3 days before I had a chance to recharge Sherpa 50. Everyone at our camp was very impressed and are looking to purchase the same setup. The Sherpa Inverter gives a high level of versatility and ability to use all electronics.

I work in Uganda where power from the commercial grid is very variable. The Sherpa inverter has enabled me to finish required projects on time and to communicate with my employer , family and friends back home. Thank you. !

This is a very clever inverter that adds cleanly to a Sherpa 50. I would like more power output, but 75w should be adequate. I suspect that there are engineering constraints.

Doesn't add much weight to the Sherpa 50 so it is still light enough to put in my backpack for a weekend trip. Useful during power loss as well.

To charge my camera batteries, I needed his piece. It is a "must have" ... to plug something up to the battery with, like, you know, a "normal" plug ... buy this.

The Goal Zero Sherpa 50 110V Inverter lets you convert your Sherpa 50 power pack into a wall outlet. The "bolt-on" inverter attaches directly to the Sherpa 50 battery pack, converting the power flow from DC to AC. With the Sherpa Inverter attached, you can plug in any device directly - just like you would with a wall outlet.
