Questions about this item:

John T  Will the EPIC 100 work with a Nikon D800e or is the larger version required?
STEPHEN B  You would want the Epic Pro for a full size DSLR.
John O  Is this a take a picture ,rotate the camera ,and take a picture set up ? Can it or do you have anything that will make a smooth, speed adjustable, 360 degree rotation for a vieo camera ???
STEPHEN B  This for creating gigapan stitched photographs. I have one of these devices and I looked every where to see if there was a hack to allow control from my video camera. I purchased an MPT1100-SS instead. A site called Servo City (all one word) sells them. Stephen
Shopper  It doesn't look like this product can be adjusted to pivot on the lens's nodal point. Is this true? Thus it's probably only good for photos where the subject is quite far in the distance with nothing in the foreground. Can you confirm?
STEPHEN B  That is not true. You can adjust the entire platter up and down as well as slide the camera forward and backwards to ensure the imager is at the center of the rotational axis. I have a small point and shoot camera that it works great with. Stephen
