works great with my macbook air 2014

i have had my G-DRIVE since october 2014 and just this month i upgraded my SSD to 512 gb and used it to boot from and install my backup with no problems its very quit you can hear a faint sound of a fan cooling it ... but what i like most about it is i can put all my programs i don't use very often such as keynote or iPhoto on it and whenever i need to run the program just plug it into my laptop and presto i just saved a bunch of room on my SSD. i even have a bunch of movies downloaded that u...

it's a good drive

This is more stable than the 4tb drive. Even though that's a better deal. I feel safe using these. But all drives die. So I always have a back up of the same drive. I'm up to 2 dozen of the G-Tech
