About G-Technology G-DRIVE Portable USB HD

The G-Technology 1TB G-DRIVE Portable USB 3.0 HDD for G-Dock ev features USB 3.0 connectivity for superspeed data transfer rates of up to 5Gb/s perfect for transferring large files and creating system backups. This drive also features one SATA port compatible with the G-DOCK ev storage system making it possible to combine this drive with another G-DRIVE ev in a variety of RAID configurations including JBOD, RAID 0 and RAID 1.

Connect this bus-powered drive directly to your Mac or Windows computer without the need for an additional power source. With Time Machine compatibility you can easily transfer files to and from your Mac or reformat the drive for use with Windows Vista, 7 or 8.
