Fast Raid. Space Saving. Cool Design.

from Brooklyn, NY  -  Casual User

I used it to back up my digital photoes. The drive is fast, space saving, and cool design. I was able to change the Raid 0 to Raid 1 using the driver CD and driver from internet on Windows 7. I was able to do it on Windows XP

Couldn't run Raid 1

from Mojave Desert  -  Power user

The unit would function in raid 0, however I have to have Raid 1 with this unit. Unfortunately the supplied software and site downloaded software would not recognize the unit in order to install the Raid control.

Questions about this item:

PATRICIA V  I have a PC with Windows 7 and USB 3.0. Will this raid work with my PC?
LEIF A  I bought this RAID storage drive specifically for use with my MAC. It was already configured for MAC use, so changing it from RAID 0 to RAID 1 was straightforward by heeding the included printed instructions. The instruction pamphlet includes lengthy and explicit instructions for changing the configuration to be PC-compatible....not difficult to follow because the instruction pamphlet is very well written. You should be able to complete the reconfiguration in less than a half-hour by carefully going "by the book". If you have any difficulty, the phone HELP line was very helpful when I called them on a minor technical question. The four (4) included cables cover just about all connection scenarios, USB 3 being one of them.
Pieter d  Is this just an enclosure or are the drives included?
DANIELLE R  Sorry, I don't know!
