Extremely satisfied with this product, and with Adorama

The Leica M-P Type 240 has a screen with dimensions 70mm x 50mm; this information is from official Leica Technical Services. The subject screen protector is Giottos Product# SP 83022, and has a size of 69 x 49.2mm, obtained from the official HP Marketing Corp. site, official distributor for Giottos. I purchased mine from Adorama - terrific service & price. The approx. 1mm differences between the two sets of dimensions has no effect provided some care is taken to install the screen to center it as perfectly as possible. This screen fits the subject screen perfectly, and provides required protection, and does not reduce visibility of image. Also, wash hands/fingers with soap, rinse thoroughly before handling and placing screen. Use the provided instructions and microfiber cloth, and the fit is perfect. Have not considered other similar products that cost less. Extremely satisfied with this product, and with Adorama.

About Giottos AEGIS Multi-Coated Screen Protector for Nikon V1 and J1 Compact Cameras

The Giottos AEGIS Multi-Coated Screen Protector for Nikon V1 and J1 Compact Cameras is made with ultra-high quality Schott German glass to preserve the optical properties of the LCD's display. The Schott glass protection is only 0.5mm thick and adds no significant weight or bulk to the camera body. Most importantly, the glass layer protects the screen from impact, chemical damage and scratches which can mar an LCD viewing screen. It affixes to an LCD screen with a very thin layer of TESA 4972 filmic double-sided tape which prevents air bubbles from forming under the glass. An added bonus is that the screen is removable and replaceable if it gets scratched or damaged.

It also feature multi-coatings that lower reflections, withstand UV light and enhance the overall image display. Both sides of the glass are coated with 12 layers of anti-reflective (AR) coating that provide an outstanding 98% transmission of light in the 420-680 nm range.
