Tripod is good enough quality for the price, but the ball head that comes with the tripod wouldn't support my 7D+70-300mm and forget using it with the 70-200mm. Nowhere near 13 lb capacity. Replaced ball head with a better Giottos head and it works great. Will still fold down, but a tight fit. The monopod is a great feature, and the tripod is small and fairly light.

With a heavy lens and the camera set to portrait orientation the head slowly moves. This is quite frustrating. But the head isn't what is moving; unfortunately it's the quick release section that screws into the camera body. I had it so tight that I was afraid of damaging the camera. Still one bump and the quick release is once again loose and the camera slowly points towards the ground.
