This tripod is well worth the money!
I am planning a trip to Hawaii and needed a light weight tripod to travel with. The compressed length makes packing less of a hassle. The light weight makes this the one to use when hiking on the trail. I use the aluminum tripod at home. I did notice that the bottom section flexes a little more than I like but was not a problem. Overall a tripod worth the money.
