Gitzo GH2781T Series 2 Traveler Center Ball Head with Bubble Ball, Supports 15.4 lbs

The Gitzo Series 2 Traveler center ball head combines lightweight and compactness with a lot of the innovative features of the top of the range heads. First of all the ball is the revolutionary Gitzo patent pending "Bubble Ball" PTFE treated, mounted on PTFE bushings. Apart from the dramatic weight reduction achieved, this beautiful sphere guarantees an exceptionally smooth operation.

Also the locking system is the Gitzo unique and patent pending Spring Assisted Double Lock (SADL) that combines two locking systems in one, maximizing both locking power and operation smoothness. Thanks to this revolutionary system the Traveler head guarantees a safe lock up to 6 kg (13.2 lbs) measured accordingly to Gitzo standard (15 kg - 33 lbs if measured accordingly to competitors standard).

The head body is made of cast magnesium and it is designed, like all Gitzo latest development products, with advanced 3D modeling software to achieve the maximum structural strength with the minimum weight. It features a leveling spirit level inserted in the ball stem. The Traveler head comes with a smart Gitzo display cleaner and convenient anti dust bag for storage and packing.
