The H&A HAAMKSLR300 Camera Mounted Shotgun Microphone has a super-cardioid pickup pattern that captures pin point professional studio quality audio by isolating the live sound before it and virtually eliminating ambient sound from the sides and rear. The results are a clearer signal delivered to your DSLR camera, camcorder, or audio recorder. The versatile microphone. directly connects to digital SLR cameras and camcorders with a 3.5 mm stereo mini-pin jack, and also connects with a XLR 3 pin cabling. The integrated floating shock-mount conveniently mounts the microphone onto any camera accessory shoe while effectively suppressing handheld camera handling and vibration noise from the recording device reaching the sensitive mic capsule. The compact and lightweight rugged construction mic assembly mounts firmly onto camera hot shoes and has a 1/4" x 20 thread for use with stands, booms, brackets and grips, and is great for a range of environments from interviews to ENG (News Gathering) to social events. Three gain settings (-10dB, 0dB, +10dB) help adjust the level of sound capture in any condition, a close-up or long shot, while a bass roll-off switch cuts low-frequency noise.
