New Life for Old Enlarger lenses
I found a Horseman VCC unit which was missing its front lens panel and therefore useless. One person's "junk" became my treasure. I talked to Sy at Adorama in NY and he found this front lens panel for me in Japan. My account was not charged until it was shipped to me from NY to San Francisco. If I could give a 10 star review for service, I would. It allows me to use some of my old APO enlarger lenses, which despite being idle for 10 years, are flat field, with higher resolutions than most 35mm camera lenses as tilt, swing and shift lenses with my Canon EOS digital camera. This allows me to get extremely shallow (.5x straight on) or extremely deep (2x straight on), depths of field for both macro and even out to infinity distances. Without Sy's help, one man's junk would have become my junk. With his patient help and Adorama's extensive contacts, I now have a rare jewel of a photographic tool!
