The Hasselblad Ixpress CF 132 digital back offers 22 mega pixel digital capture with the Hasselblad open camera interface, the I-adapter, and the ability to add true-color, multi-shot capture. The new generation of Hasselblad digital backs brings a new level of flexibility to the serious digital photographer, and expands the horizons of leading edge digital photography.
Today's digital photography demands higher resolution, less noise, and improved composition, all of which the Ixpress CF backs provide. Ixpress CF backs provide digital capture with sensors more than twice the physical size of today's 35mm sensors. These larger sensors hold more and larger pixels, which ensures the highest possible image quality and moiré free color rendering without gradation break-ups, in even the most subtly lit surfaces.
Optimum portability and image storage are critical for the professional photographer and the Ixpress CF backs let you be as flexible as you need to be, enabling you to choose freely between portable CF card storage, flexible Firewire drives, or tethered operation with extended, special capture controls. With these three options, you can choose an operating and storage mode to suit the nature of the work at hand, whether in the studio or on location.
In a studio environment you can increase the color resolution of your captures by means of a unique multiple-exposure technique controlled by the optional 4*Res module (patent pending). The result is maximum resolution and absolutely moiré free images. The Ixpress CF 132 can be upgraded with the 4*Res module at any time.
The Ixpress CF is easily attached with a simple 4-screw attached plate to most of the professional SLR and View Cameras of the market. This simple compatibility allows you to bring optimal digital capture to your existing cameras and lenses and with the convenience of only using one digital back.
Hasselblad has worked closely with Adobe to make its new products fully compatible with Adobe's raw image format, DNG, bringing this new technology standard to professional photographers for the first time.
The DNG file format enables raw, compressed image files to be opened directly in Adobe PhotoShop, allowing you to operate quickly and efficiently, reducing the downtime usually taken to process image data, and enabling final images to reach customers more quickly.
Limitless digital image capture loses some of its potential if you can't quickly review and select the best images from your shoot. Building on the success of its Audio Exposure Feedback technology, Hasselblad is proud to introduce Instant Approval Architecture (IAA).
An enhanced set of feedback tools, designed to allow you to focus on your shooting rather than the selection process. IAA triggers audible and visible signals for each image captured, immediately telling you whether the image has an approved, rejected, orborderline status.
